Language & Literacy Day and Distinguished Lecture Series: Susan Goldin-Meadow

Research on the Challenges of Acquiring Language and Literacy presents our Language & Literacy Day and Distinguished Lecture on Friday, April 5th, 2013.

Language & Literacy graduate and undergraduate fellows will present research posters in the West Exhibit Area, on the 2nd floor of the Urban Life Building, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.  A lecture by Dr. Susan Goldin-Meadow of the University of Chicago will take place in room 201 of the Urban Life Building at 11:00 am.

Dr. Goldin-Meadow will present her research on “Gesture’s Role in Creating and Learning Language”

This event is free and open to the public. Reception lunch immediately following lecture by Dr. Susan Goldin-Meadow.
