Chris Shattuck is an Atlanta-based journalist, blogger and photographer with a strong background in nonprofit public relations and media management & marketing. A senior at Georgia State University, Chris has spent four years at the university's award-winning student newspaper, The Signal. As the paper's editor-in-chief, Chris pioneered the expansion of the paper's coverage through a highly-successful daily online-first publishing strategy and marketing push. Chris has also interned in the Public Information Office of the Carter Center and freelanced for GlobalAtlanta, which covers daily international business in Atlanta from a global perspective. With an expected 2014 degree in journalism and marketing, he hopes to build on this experience as a public relations professional for a U.S.-based international agency, corporation or nonprofit.
