The lower end of Woodruff Park had a different feel to it Thursday, Nov. 8 as Bella René, a plus-sized fashion label, held a Pop-Up Fashion Show to promote her new denim line.
Bella René designer Kenyatta Jones was on location with a camera crew interviewing bystanders about fashion. Jones also called upon fashion models wearing the brand that were hidden amongst the crowd. After being selected, the models began a runway walk to showcase the new denim.
The filming done is to be used for a new fashion reality show featuring Jones and will air on cable television in Spring of 2013.
The lineup features hand-washed jeans, hand-tailored embroidered stitching, and a light-stretch denim. Sizes range from 12 to 28 and cuts include straight, boot, and skinny. Prices range from $129 to $229 and ordering begins starting in mid-November on their website www.bellarene.net.
