Kelton Hill and Ulrick John invited to to NFL Super Regional Combine

GEORGIA STATE ATHLETICS

Former Georgia State wide receiver Kelton Hill has been invited to the NFL Super Regional combine in Detroit at Ford Field.

It feels good since I wasn’t invited to the other combine,” Hill said referring to the NFL Combine held in February. “It’s a good feeling to get that call saying “congratulations you have been invited to the combine.” (See The Signal’s full Q&A with Hill).

There has been no official list from the NFL, but Kelton Hill originally posted on his Facebook announcing his participation in the combine Tuesday.

PantherTalk reported Tuesday former left tackle Ulrick John was invited to the Super Regional Combine, as well.

Hill and John are the second and third players in Georgia State history to be invited to the Detroit combine, following former Panthers linebacker Evan Bostic in 2012.

Hill is a four-year letter winner at Georgia State who played quarterback his first two seasons and wide-receiver his junior and senior year.

Last season, Hill was the team’s third-leading rusher in school history with 1,076 yards and seven touchdowns and fourth in school history with 1,270 career passing yards for 12 touchdowns. Last season, Hill was third in receptions with 20 for 196 yards and four touchdowns.

John was a two-year starter and All-conference left tackle for the Panthers. Both John and Hill were a part of the Panthers’ inaugural season.

The 2014 Super Regional Combine will be held on April 12-13 in Detroit at Ford Field. Like the NFL Combine, players work out and showcase their abilities in front of club scouts.
