A 14-year-old student at Price Middle School in Southeast Atlanta was shot Thursday afternoon and is being treated at Grady Hospital, according to CBS Atlanta News.
Although details are scarce as to what led to the shooting, 11 Alive reports that the suspect in the shooting is an 14-year-old boy. A second victim, a teacher who was reportedly trampled inside the school, was treated on the scene for minor cuts and buises.
Price Middle School is about three miles south of Georgia State University. Price and other local schools remain on lockdown.
