Zeta Mu Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated will be hosting a panel in honor of Black History Month tonight.
The panel is titled “The Miseducation of the Unchained” and will be made up of Dr. Kirk Saddler, a professional dermatologist who works at Gwinnett Dermatology; Tyler Joshua Green, SGA president of Clark Atlanta University; Eshe’ Collins, lawyer and Georgia State Jumpstart program coordinator; Brittany Boulware, Middle Education student and Music Ministry leader.
“[They will] focus on how blacks may still be controlled or confined in regards to progressing as a race,” Kyle Walcott, president of Zeta Mu Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., said.
The panel will also discuss the historical events and actions African-Americans have endured and how they may mis-educate themselves in today’s society.
The event will be held at 7 p.m. at the Speaker’s Auditorium.
