Head Coach Cathy Mant thought the snowy weather in Georgia affected her team’s play this weekend, but was optimistic moving forward.
“I am pleased with our first tournament of the year considering we knew we would be rusty going in,” Mant said to Georgia State Athletics.
“The weather just has not allowed us to practice, but we still came away with some good wins and are encouraged for the rest of the spring.”
The team’s next battle is in Orange Park, Fla. to compete in the JMU Eagle Landing Invitational March 14-16.
