Micheal Manely, a divorce and family law attorney, received the Serving Others and Achieving Results (SOAR) Award at a luncheon at Georgia State on April 10, 2014.
SOAR is an award that is given by the Georgia State’s College of Law’s Public Interest Law Association (PILA). The award is given to an alumni that is doing great work in the public interest.
The PILA organization is an organization that promotes the goals of public interest, according to the Digital Journal.
