The women’s golf team has peaked at the perfect time as they tee off Monday morning in their first ever Sun Belt Championship.
The championship, which will include 11 teams, is being played in Muscle Shoals, Ala..
The No. 1 spot for the Panthers will be Maria Palacios.
Laura Sanchez, Melissa Siviter, Solveig Helgesen, and Julie Lied will fill up the two through five spots respectively.
In their previous tournament, the Panthers were able to finish second out of 14 teams.
It was their best finish of the season, a season that started with finishes towards the bottom of the leaderboard.
The team tees off at 8 a.m. Monday morning and the championship is played through Wednesday.
