Eastern Illinois (4-4) versus Georgia State (12-8)
The Georgia State softball team will play a doubleheader against the Eastern Illinois Panthers on Thursday at the Heck Softball Complex.
The additional games are to make up for rainouts earlier in the season.
Georgia State was scheduled to play Southern Illinois-Edwardsville and Tennessee State in the Bulldog Kickoff Classic in Starkville, Miss., but stormy conditions cancelled those games.
The first game will be at 3 p.m. and the night cap is set for 6 p.m..
Eastern Illinois was recently the runner-up at the Louisville Cardinal Classic and has won three of its last four games.
Callie Alford is batting a robust .344 with 19 RBIs for Georgia State.
