Held in the Student Ballroom Tuesday, PantherXChange was a chance for students to showcase their talents.
“Many people do not realize that these students are creative,” said Kiersten Smith, Vice President of the Spotlight Programs Board. Vendors were set up in order for students, along with vibrant music in the background.
Working on the event since June, Justin Lead was very excited for his vision to come to life.
“PantherXChange is a new event at Georgia State it’s like a big market place for students to come by and share their clothing lines, accessories, makeup, or jewelry,” Lead said.
Georgia State student Kala Virgil had particular expectations in mind as she anticipated the opening of the event.
“I hope there’s some music, maybe some food and surprises. That’s what I hope to get out of it,” Virgil said.
Student Amber Stickland attended two events previous to this one also hoping for fun surprises.
“Just to get out here and have some fun. [I] went to the Morning Commuters and I got a donut,” Strickland said.
