The Georgia State Women’s Basketball team announced Saturday that Brittany Logan, a NJCAA All-American, has signed a Financial Aid Agreement letter and is joining the Panthers according to head coach Sharon Baldwin-Tener.
The 6-foot 4-inch transfer was ranked the second best Center in Georgia and ranked number four in the nation amongst junior college sophomores.
Logan averaged 10.3 points and 9.8 rebounds per game for the Georgia Perimeter Jaguars leading her team to a record of 23-9 in the 2011- 2012 season as Georgia Perimeter finished that season ranked No. 12 in the nation amongst junior colleges. Logan had 17 double-doubles that season.
Logan was the GCAA Player of the Week winner eight times and awarded Most Valuable Player of the GCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament in 2012.
Logan played high school basketball at J. L. Mann Academy in Greenville, S.C., and is a native of Decatur, Ga..
