Music Midtown, one of Atlanta’s largest music festivals, announced what is perhaps its most robust lineup yet with over 20 acts and a third stage to accommodate the additional talent.
The hugely successful music festival will return on Friday, Sept. 20 and Saturday, Sept. 21 in Piedmont Park for its third year since it went on hiatus in 2005 due to inflated ticket prices and management troubles.
Friday, Sept. 20th will feature: Journey, Jane’s Addiction, 2 Chainz, Phoenix, Cake, North Mississippi Allstars, The Mowgli’s, Drivin N Cryin
Saturday, Sept. 21st will feature: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Queens of the Stone Age, Imagine Dragons, Weezer, Kendrick Lamar, Arctic Monkeys, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Tegan and Sara, The Black Lips, Reignwolf, The Neighbourhood, ZZ Ward, Mona, Capital Cities
Early Bird tickets go on sale Saturday, June 22nd and begin at $90 for two days, $40 for Sept. 20, and $65 for Sept. 21. There is a special presale for Citi cardholders which begins at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 19.
Ticket pricing will increase on Aug. 1 to $110 for two days, $75 for Sept. 21, and $50 for Sept. 20.
For patrons who value creature comforts, there are VIP tickets which offer a private entrance, a private hospitality area with complementary food and drinks, and air conditioned restrooms. There are even Super VIP tickets which add valet parking, premier viewing areas, and exclusive memorabilia.
