If you’re looking for art on campus, look no further than Aaron El-Amin’s jewelry stand in front of Georgia State’s General Classroom Building.
El-Amin crafts original, unique pieces of jewelry with natural materials like copper, polymer clay and semi-precious stones for his business, ELAMENTS Design. He fuses African artistry with a modern twist.
“I don’t think about what I want to make first,” said El-Amin of his designs. “As I make it, it kind of creates itself.”
El-Amin has been designing and making jewelry since he was in college at UCLA. What started as a way to make money part-time later became a full-time business. El-Amin now sells and shows off his wares at Atlanta events, like Music Midtown, and also throughout the southeast.
