Three Georgia State students placed in the Herman J. Russell, Sr. International Center for Entrepreneurship Elevator Pitch Competition on March 2.
Fourteen Georgia State students competed in the competition showcasing their skills of creativity and demonstrating their spokesman ability.
Robert Harris, Sports Administration student, won first place with his pitch of developing a youth passing league.
Harris left the competition with more than just satisfaction, but also $250.
An app called “Virtual Wardrobe” by Loren Udwin won the second place title and a $100 prize, while Abigail Joslin won first runner-up for a mobile health games concept.
Within 2 minutes contestants were expected to pitch an idea for creating a business and complimenting their ideas with visual items to panel of four judges.
Contestants where chosen upon the magnitude of a one-page paper that defined their project.
