The Georgia State women’s basketball team was defeated at home by James Madison by a final score of 65-49 on Sunday.
The team now has a record of 9-7, with four of the wins coming in conference play and have dropped five of their last six contests.
The halftime score was 23-17 as both teams shot under twenty five percent from the field.
In the second half, Georgia State was able to cut the lead to as low as one, but a late run from James Madison would put the game away.
Tarik Hislop was James Madison’s leading scorer with twenty points while Kayla Nolan’s thirteen points would lead Georgia State.
The team’s next game will be at Old Dominion on Thursday.
