Coming back from a long absence of public speaking, Dr. Drew Pinsky spoke to Georgia State students on sex and relationships on Valentine’s Day.
“I haven’t done speaking in a long time, but I love speaking, so it just came along at the time and I grabbed it,” Pinsky said.
Interacting with his audiences is a big deal for Pinsky, and he said this is something that he takes pride in.
“I like to see what’s really going on and I love working with audiences and so to be able to touch and feel and hear and interact, to me is very exciting,” he said.
During his visit, Pinsky spoke to his audience about relationships and the different elements it contains. He did not want to focus so much on the lecture part, but more so on what the audience was feeling.
Student Alessandra Bhansali said she liked the fact that he was interactive with Georgia State’s audience.
“ I really liked his speech and I think that it was good because he was able to share his ideas and really get to people I felt like, and he knew what we were interested in and he was really interacted it was really cool,” Bhansali said.
Pinsky said he wanted the audience to ask questions along with making comments and that is exactly what they did.
“It’s kind of magical because you don’t know what’s going to happen,” Pinsky said.
