The Disney College program, a paid internship offered to college students of all majors and classifications, is accepting applications until the end of the March.
Hanna Hope, a representative for the program as well as a former intern, said that the experience was “unbelievable” and encourages all students to apply.
“We are looking for part time students, full time students and all academic levels,” Hope said.
Participants will have the chance to receive hands-on experience and learning opportunities, as well as networking with coworkers and Disney employers in high level positions.
The program is also a chance for student to experience various cultures. The internship gives students the opportunity to earn wages, learn, take classes and live in apartment-style housing with other internship participants.
“I met people from Brazil, China and New Zealand,” said Ann Chin, a marketing major and another representative for the internship. Chin said even though the internship seems to only target specific areas of study, majors of all kinds receive benefits from the program.
Chin’s coworkers and roommates consisted of majors ranging from film and early childhood education to culinary arts and engineering.
In addition to the exciting internship opportunities are the upcoming entertainment auditions taking place in Atlanta on March 12. The purpose of these auditions is to find participants for Disney characters, princesses, and dancers in the parade.
Hope said these auditions are “a big deal because they are not held in many cities.”
