Dr. Fenwick Huss, Dean of the J.Mack Robinson College of Business, is leaving Georgia State to take a faculty position in the Stan Ross Department of Accountancy at Baruch College at The City University of New York.
Dean Huss has served the Robinson College since 2004. Before he was a director of the School of Accountancy at Georgia State.
According to his biography on the Robinson College of Business website, Huss’s leadership brought development in the college’s curriculum, hiring top faculty and in raising the profile and rankings of undergraduate business programs.
Robinson College’s Professor Barry Wood said he recognizes the efforts made by Dr. Huss to improve the college. Wood said someone has to take the leadership to continue developing the college.
“I will personally miss him,” Wood said.
Business major students Rubab Raza and Christopher Gonzalez said they are thankful of the dean for bringing all the positive changes and helping the college grow.
“He launched new graduate programs under his leadership which shows his dedication,” Raza said.
The dean who will replace Huss has not yet been announced.
