Winter weather has once again put Georgia State basketball on hold as the men’s and women’s next basketball games have been postponed.
The men’s game, originally scheduled for Thursday, has been rescheduled for Monday, Feb. 17, at 7:30 p.m. The women’s team will play before the men at 5 p.m. Both games are at the GSU Sports Arena and are versus Texas-Arlington.
The men’s team (17-6, 10-0 Sun Belt) first will have to focus on Saturday’s game at Troy to try and extend its 14-game winning streak. The game is at 6 p.m. and will be televised nationally on ESPN2.
The women’s team (10-12, 6-4 Sun Belt), who postponed its game from Wednesday to Thursday originally, also must get ready for Troy. Their game will be immediately following the men’s game at 8:30 p.m.
This is the second time this season both team’s have had to postpone games due to winter weather. The last time was during the snow storm in Atlanta Jan. 28 that shut down the city for the week.
