The faculty at Georgia State’s J. Mack Robinson College of Business are some of
the most productive business researchers on Earth, according to new rankings published by the Naveen Jindal School of Management.
Located at the University of Texas at Dallas (UT Dallas), the Naveen Jindal school compiles a set of yearly rankings for the top 100 universities conducting business research.
Georgia State leapt 12 spots from 2012 to be No. 51 in the worldwide research rankings, and moved up nine spots in the national rankings, making Robinson No. 45 in the nation.
UT Dallas establishes the rankings by reviewing a database of faculty research published in 24 major peer-reviewed journals. Current rankings reflect articles published from 2008-2012.
Robinson’s growing research ranking is coupled with another accomplishment: The college is ranked in the top 50 for contributions to 11 of the 24 journals evaluated. Among the 11 journals, 3 earned a top ten ranking.
