Atlanta has been ranked the number one city to move to in 2012 for its third consecutive year according to a report published at CBS Atlanta on Tuesday.
The list was compiled by online consumer truck rental reservations and call centers.
Cities that followed Atlanta were Dallas-Fort Worth, Phoenix, and Orlando.
Data shows that warmer climate were the leading impulse to move last year.
“As this list indicates, U.S. residents continue migrating primarily toward warm weather areas,” Don Mikes, vice president of rental at Penske Truck Rental, said to CBS Atlanta’s Jennifer Banks.
More than 36 million people relocated in 2012 according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
