Georgia State will host First Lady Sandra Deal in honor of her work on the “Read Across America” initiative on Tuesday at 11:45 a.m.
Before coming to Georgia State, Deal will arrive at the Suttles Child Development Center where a pre-k class is scheduled to great Deal with a song.
Deal may also read to students.
Afterward, Deal will attend a luncheon in the University Center where book donations will be made to a public school library and public library of Deal’s choice.
Georgia State First Lady Laura Voisinet will also make a tribute to Deal as a teacher and her work on the “Read Across America” initiative.
