The Georgia State Panthers faced off against the University of North Carolina-Wilmington Wednesday night and came away with an 81-63 victory.
It was a parade of threes inside the Sports Arena, with both teams combining for 42 shots from beyond the arc.
The Panther’s Manny Atkins shot a robust 60% from the three point line to lead the Panthers who shot 41% from downtown as a team.
R.J. Hunter stuffed the stat sheet with six assists and six rebounds to go along with 19 points.
The win was the fourth consecutive for the Panthers who now sport a 10-11 overall record, including a 5-3 mark in Colonial Athletic Association play.
Georgia State travels to Philadelphia on Saturday to face the Drexel University Dragons.
Tipoff is scheduled for 12 p.m..
