Women’s tennis tops Trojans, 6-1

The Troy Trojans were no match for Georgia State women’s tennis on Thursday afternoon at Piedmont Park as the Panthers defeated their Sun Belt rival Trojans by a final of 6-1. The Panthers only only lost one singles match and one doubles match while still claiming the doubles point.

The victory improves Georgia State’s record to 11-8 on the season. The Panthers’ regular season finale will be on Saturday at the Blackburn Tennis Center at 2 p.m. against Georgia Southern on Senior Day.
