Georgia State will replace their running back coach for the 2nd time in less than a year.

Graduate assistant Brock Lough will be the new running back coach.

Lough is a graduate from Indiana State where he was an All-Conference fullback.

Tony Tiller, the former running back coach, has been named new assistant to the athletic director.

The coaching change comes two days following an embarrassing 42-14 loss to the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga.

The Panthers rushed for 30 yards against the Mocs, averaging less than two yards per carry.

This season, the running game only accounted for 120 yards out of the 766 total yards the offense has.The Panthers have yet to score a rushing touchdown this season.

Per AJC, Miles said he’s not blaming Tiller for the team’s rough start.

“Point the finger at me,” Miles said. “It starts with me.”
