Students keep strutting in rain boots as the rain continues

With it raining non-stop for the past couple of days at GSU, rain boots have come in handy for students.

Instead of wearing flats or sneakers some students caved in and decided to go out and buy a new pair of rain boots, such as student Kelsey Andy.

“I actually just got them yesterday because I’ve been wearing flats and they were completely soaked by the time I got home so I’ve had these for the past couple of days and they are really comfy,” Andy said.

For other students like Nikki Recchio, wearing rain boots all week has become a routine. Explaining with a sense of humor, before class Recchio will “creep” on the students outside to see what she should wear.

“I love wearing the rain boots because I can just run through the puddles, get to class I don’t have to worry about stepping over things and getting out of the way of people,” Recchio said.

Georgia State’s rainy week have made boots the latest trend.
