Running Back Bateman suffers season-ending injury

Taz Bateman, Georgia State running back,  will miss the rest of the 2015 season due to a forearm injury,” according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Bateman suffered the injury against New Mexico State in the second quarter on Saturday night. In his two games with the Panthers, Bateman ran 94-yards and caught a 24-yard touchdown pass in the season opener against Charlotte.
Georgia State is now 1-1 overall and atop of the Sun Belt conference rankings with a 1-0 conference record.
