As the weather gets warmer, restaurants around Atlanta provide charming patio spaces for those looking for safer dining options during the pandemic. From tacos to chicken tenders, the city offers various fun and affordable restaurants with outdoor seating.

Fox Bros. BBQ

Price: $11 to $30

Fox Bros BBQ, located in Candler Park, has anything and everything for meat-lovers.  Owned and operated by twin brothers from Texas, this Atlanta-based restaurant provides a patio space complete with rustic decor and a Texas twang twist.  Fox Bros BBQ has a minimalistic southern charm that fits right in with the menu. 

Lady Bird Grove and Mess Hall

Price: $11 to $30

Located in the historic Old Fourth Ward, Lady Bird Grove and Mess Hall provides a patio space to take the perfect Instagram photo. The outdoors-themed restaurant is dog friendly with umbrellas for shade, which comes to life at night with several strings of lights.

Lady Bird is right on the Beltline’s Eastside Trail, allowing a place for walkers and explorers to stop and have a COVID-safe bite to eat. Lady Bird Grove and Mess Hall has many camping cuisines such as hot dogs, potato salad and backyard BBQ. 

Bread and Butterfly

Bread and Butterfly at Inman park offers an array of coffees and brunch options. The patio area has a French feel, making customers feel like they have just walked onto a  Parisian terrace.

With wicker chairs, glass tables and lots of plants, Bread and Butterfly allows for a fun place to enjoy breakfast, brunch or late lunch. This restaurant is decorated from floor to ceiling with European decals, and the patio space allows for safe dining. 

Superica

Best known for their “Mex-Tex,” Superica on Krog Street features refreshed Texas favorites. On the menu, customers can find items such as nachos, enchiladas, fajitas and chili. Outside on the covered patio are a variety of seating options. The deck space offers a western vibe, complete with stylish lighting fixtures and homespun decor. 

Henry’s Midtown Tavern

Henry’s Midtown Tavern provides a food-centric menu, featuring several different kinds of appetizers, pastas and desserts. Located on 10th Street, Henry’s offers a safe place to dine right in the heart of midtown.

The patio space is dog-friendly and built around two large trees that live in the center of the patio space. Henry’s delivers a welcoming atmosphere, and the restaurant takes temperatures at the door to ensure COVID safety protocols are in place. 

Noni’s

Serving up a menu filled with Italian favorites, Noni’s on Edgewood supplies a patio space hidden from Atlanta’s streets. This area is covered in murals, providing walls of art to peruse while dining.

The decor at this homey restaurant makes customers feel welcomed, as the slogan at this Edgewood eatery is “Noni loves you!” With an array of pasta, salads and pizza, Noni’s menu has comforting Italian selections that customers can enjoy on a warm spring night.
