‘To __________: A Celebration of Edgar Allen Poe’

The oldest chartered school organization is getting ready to take you back to the early 1800s: the time of Edgar Allan Poe.

Join The Players of GSU at their event, “To______: A Celebration of Edgar Allan Poe.”

The event commemorates some of Poe’s most compelling and spine-chilling fiction works of the time by performing three of his writings, including “A Tell-Tale Heart”. Interpretive dances of his stories will also take place in between each play. Participants are welcome to dress up in costumes from Poe’s works or of the author himself.

“I hope [the audience] enjoys and appreciates the actors and dancers,” said Cameron Wingo of the Players of GSU office. “I hope they recognize these organizations and see what we have to offer.”

The performances will take place in Dahlberg Hall’s University Theatre on February 21st, 22nd, and 23rd at 8 p.m. and on February 24th at 3 p.m. Tickets are $15 for general admission, $10 for students, $5 for adults in costume, and free for children under the age of 12.
