The women’s basketball team’s next game against South Alabama has been postponed until Thursday, Jan. 30, at 4:30 p.m. due inclement weather.

The game is being pushed back to allow weather around Atlanta to improve and roads to be safer, according to Georgia State Athletics, as many of them are covered in snow and ice.

Tickets for the game’s original time will be honored on Thursday.

The Panthers (9-10, 5-2 Sun Belt) are trying to extend their current winning streak to five. Georgia State is currently second in the Sun Belt.

The game will precede the men’s basketball team that is still scheduled for 7 p.m. on Jan. 30, or 30 minutes following the end of the women’s game.

The men’s basketball team is going for their 12 consecutive win, which would be the longest in school history.
