Overtime blues: men fall short, finish season under .500

Georgia State honored the senior members of the men’s basketball program Wednesday night and fell to Northeastern by a score of 90-84 in overtime.

This Panthers finished the regular season with a record of 15-16 (10-8) and most likely will not play postseason basketball.

Junior forward Manny Atkins was player of the game.  He scored 26 points and grabbed 12 rebounds.

James Vincent, the only senior on the team, scored eight points and pulled down three rebounds.
