Taking a trip to Little Five Points, I became overwhelmed with the artistic community and with the establishments offered.

Here are some areas that were especially impressive, and persuaded me to want to come back.

1. The Vortex

After living here for as long as I have, I finally decided to see what this artistic nook in this city had to offer. I started off by going to this notorious restaurant. I wasn’t disappointed in the slightest, this place was unique and offered a very down-to-earth vibe. It was very urban, and played an impressive playlist of tunes, mostly consisting of old school classic rock.

The food was also something that I enjoyed, it was very well prepared and was extremely delectable. I was able to dine in an upper level area of the restaurant that had a beautiful view of the lights vibrating off the Little Five Points strip.

2. Rag-O-Rama

Rag-O-Rama was another store that I took a gander at while there, and this store was exactly what I am interested in when it comes to clothing stores. It is a thrift shop, and was filled with interesting costumes, clothes, and accessories. I was intrigued with the amount of old school threads that this shop carried.

3. Criminal Records

Since I intend to invest in a record player soon, I decided to make a stop at Criminal Records. The impressive thing about this store is, not only do they have old records, but they also have records for more modern artists. Records aren’t all that they offer, they have entire section of comic books, movies, and CDs.

I enjoyed the vibe that Little Five Points offered. It had a very urban, old school, and eclectic vibe to it. I would definitely recommend others  to take a trip to this artsy haven away from the rowdy city.
