Leading students to Christ

The Bethel Campus Fellowship has many events planned to attract more students to their organization.

This week they will be giving free donuts and juices and accepting prayer requests in the University Plaza from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Also, on March 11, Bethel Campus Fellowship will be hosting a prayer walk. The ministry will meet at 6 p.m. in Langdale Hall in room 223.

“We believe in leading students to Christ and preparing them to be reliable men and women of God who he can trust with his word for the next generation,” said Melissa Hayes, president of the ministry.

Bethel Campus Fellowship started seven years ago by Fola Oyeleye at Bowie State University in Baltimore, Maryland.

Oyeleye now attends Georgia State and has brought the ministry to the University as well.

The ministry has become nationwide and is now in Georgia, North Carolina, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Canada and the United Kingdom.

“We look forward to getting the ministry in all 50 states because we like praying for people, “ Hayes said. “Though this campus may seem so impersonal, there are students who care for you and we want to be a place of refuge and comfort to help in Jesus Christ.”

To become a member of the ministry students can go to weekly bible studies in Classroom South in room 428 or email the ministry at bcfgastate@gmail.com
