Incoming freshman prowl around campus

The freshmen are coming! The freshmen are coming! New prospective Georgia State students came to visit the university on Friday morning, March 1.

Registration for the Pounce into Panther college day took place in the student center and the room was filled with excited and expectant new comers.

“The students are most excited for the residence halls because it’s one of the only times that they get to see them,” said Amy Gregg, a Junior Tour Guide at Georgia State.

While going to college is a very exciting time in many high school students lives, it can also be challenging if they are not properly prepared.

As help, Gregg took some time to offer a little advice to the incoming freshmen.

“[Students] need to stay on top of their paper work. They also need to read all of the information that is given to them,” Gregg said.

The transition from high school to college is often hard, but if you stay on top of your stuff every thing should be just fine.

College is a time of exploration and evolution as a person. Hopefully, the new students experience everything that Georgia State has to offer.
